Mobile: @ (ping) member list does not appear while in horizontal screen orientation

On the android version of the mobile app (android tablet) when I try to ping someone, normally a menu that shows users appears so you can easily type out their names. However ever since the January 2021 update, this menu no longer appears at all when my tablet is in horizontal screen orientation. However the menu appears normally in the Vertical screen orientation only.
