Cut off reply when over certain char limit on Web and Desktop

Apologies for the double feature request, I was told to post it here as well but because I couldn't find the "New post" button inside specific categories I was unaware of how to do this.

Anyway, I've noticed that when replying to a big message, the reply becomes massive, and I (could be personal preference) really don't like the way that this looks. I think it would be better if Discord desktop and web would cut off the reply after 2 or so lines - like the mobile version does. This way it would take up less room. This could even be an option in the appearance or ship along with the Compact setting. Thanks in advance and thanks for reading!
