Twitter embed with animated GIF/video no longer shows in text chat

This issue has started since a few days ago and it is very annoying

  Please fix this, and while were at it make it so preview works on mobile as well

  Yeah I wish this would be fixed already. It's very annoying when I'm trying to share something and the image/video can't preview. So no one knows what they'll be clicking on.

  yeah what's the point of showing a preview panel full of text when you still have to follow that link to check out what it is anyways (fyi the caption isn't always in your language so the preview text sometimes is pretty useless)

  My assumption was that it was related to windows 8 because my understanding is it's a tablet friendly os and these twitter links seem to be treated the same way on my smart phone. Not many people seem to be experiencing the issue and not many people are using windows 8 so that'd be my guess. I hope it gets fixed/changed soon
