Turn off attached file preview

Is there a way to turn off the file preview feature, either on a server or individual basis?  We have a server on which we upload numerous HTML files, and some of our members are complaining about having the blocks of HTML code being displayed and cluttering up channels unnecessarily.  It was much better when all that was  shown was the file name.

    They should make it so you have a choice to display it as a file or as a code block.
    I personally think viewing it as a code block is better so I don't need to waste my time downloading files
