As someone who does NSFW art for the community I am in I find this sicking. I do good old fashion pencil and paper art and use my iphone to upload the pictures. Now I am being punished because Discord doesn’t want to add the appropriate safety locks? While apps like Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, etc... get to run free and have the same/ less restrictions in terms of Apples rules/terms? Discord really? Finally found something decent I love doing to have it ruined by a company who has no backbone.

    It's 100% on discord, telegram, reddit, etc have website switches and all is fine.

    It is not necessary to open NSFW. If you are dealing with a server that is not Nsfw, go to another server or do not access servers that contain it.

    That isn't your call to make, Discord.  A lot of marginalized communities (LGBTQ and others) as well as lifestyle communities will be flagged by this.

    More importantly, Nitro subscribers paid for an expected level of service delivery that INCLUDED the delivery of this content.  Your decision to change the level of content available to customers who have paid for 12-month subscriptions is a significant change in the level of service.  That's the equivalent of a bait-and-switch.
