    Same issue as above.

Deleted discord and then I removed folders in:

    1. /Library/Application Support/Discord
    2. /Library/Application Support/Discord

And emptied the trash and restarted my mac, installed discord and the banner is still there.
I am also using Mac and the computer's version 10.10.5 Yosemite

I am also having the same problem.

I have followed all of the steps on the website, and it won't go away

I have a feeling it is something with the newest update, and it prevents me from unmuting.

I am having the same problem.

It seems to be a Mac problem as my non-Mac friend has had no issue.

I hope that this is solved soon!!!

    • Close Discord by using ⌘+Q or selecting the Quit option from the menubar, then make sure all Discord processes are terminated from within your Mac's Activity Monitor. (You can quickly launch the Activity Monitor by using Spotlight or Siri on your Mac!)

    • Delete the 2 following folders:
      1. ~/Library/Application Support/Discord
      2. /Library/Application Support/Discord

To find those folders, open Finder, press +G (or Go > Go to Folder in the menubar), and enter:

~/Library/Application Support in the window and hit enter:

Seems a pretty widespread Yosemite issue, from the couple threads I've found on it, including this one in Reddit:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/mqmn3e/discord_installation_corruption_macos_yosemite/

We're having the same issue, followed the reinstall instructions many times and it hasn't changed. One of the users on the Reddit thread said the issue went away after updating Mac OS.

The sad thing is it's been having stability issues and high CPU usage for a while on our computer, which I've also seen other threads complaining about.

It makes me wonder if they're just letting go of support for Yosemite... or just too small of a group of users to be worth fixing the issues it is having.
