Let me get rid of the "Press ] to talk" UI element

This is present beneath my text chat in the overlay.

Everyone in my group does not want it beneath text chat as it messes up the UI in-game without providing additional functionality.

Please give us an option to remove this message being present in the overlay.

I've seen disabling the overlay entirely as a suggestion in several threads. I do not want to go to Settings -> Overlay to disable the in-game overlay. Text chat overlay otherwise is great and I want it there.

I just want to be able to turn off the specific UI element pasted above.

Finally, pressing ] doesn't work as expected. It disables both the keyboard in-game and does not allow me to type in the overlay when pressed. I must alt-tab out and alt-tab back in, or enable and disable the full overlay with Shift + ~ until I am able to play the game again. The game is Final Fantasy XIV.

Honestly, this part doesn't even bother me. I can use Shift + ~ to enable the full overlay and reply there. I just want to be able to turn off the specific UI element pasted above.

I strongly agree that there should be an option to disable this.

This is a recent overlay bug, I reported it two weeks ago, but it hasn't been fixed since then.
