shadow mute feature
it would be so much better. people who are shadow muted has a little twist, on the client side the user can still send messages, however these messages are not delivered to the server channels, so no one can see and I think these shadow messages should be stored as cache

Unfortunately, I don't think shadow muting will ever be added to Discord, most likely because of misuse. Unless manual role management is your thing, muting isn't a function offered in normal Discord, but by bot makers. Shadow Muting would require the devs to make an entirely new function that shows a message as sent on a client without sending to the channel, which would probably mess with messages that had an error sending.
