Desktop app is broken but a reinstal wont fix.

My discord app will no longer access my camera and creates "electic" noises from my mic (my boyfriends words). my mic will also cut out but still light up green to say im speaking but what im saying wont go through unless I leave and re-join call, or move to browser version. The browser version works fine for all of these issues, it just makes  the sound of other peoples voices a little off. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing serveral times

  I have the exact same issue with discord, and it's been driving me nuts.
