How do I remove myself from an @group?

Within our server we have groups we can use @ to notify members. Just like @everyone. So I'm notified when some does @groupIJoined, how do I remove myself from that specific @group

    You can remove yourself from a role by going into your profile preview and clicking on the colored dot next to the role you want to remove or by right-clicking on yourself, going under roles and unticking the role you want to remove.
