Verified Server Requirements Should be as Effective as Before
Verified server
(Not Discord Partner)
The requirements should be more applicable to game developers as before.
At first, many game developers, including me, resort to the verified server program to increase the popularity of their games, get rid of imitators, and make their game official, and they are either rejected or not even getting a return. But when I look at it from perspective, there are game developers that the verified server will bring serious potential, and these game developers have the potential to seriously grow the Discord platform.
I know that Discord is only looking for those with a high audience to grow its platform, but this trend causes the victimization of both those who expect support and will provide support to Discord.
In my view, the verified server requirements should be lighter than before, especially the rule "Your game must be playable, it can be an open beta but should be playable" should definitely be restored, the "Have a strong audience" rule should be removed, or verified server requirements for specific game developers.
As long as these requirements are not alleviated, I can see that the Discord platform is seriously losing its potential. Many quality game developers are rejected and eventually stop supporting Discord. After all, why should game developers who cannot get enough support should support and stay on the Discord platform?
Of course, it's worth remembering that this doesn't mean 'Everyone can get verification'. If this were the case, verification would not make sense. However, the verified server requirements for game developers need to be mitigated, otherwise the game developers, one of the most influential gems in Discord's growth, will continue to leave the platform day by day due to insufficient support.
I'm not on banner, nitro, 384kbps sound quality etc. What I want is the current verification requirements to be mitigated.
