Infinitely Looping Gifs

There really should be some way to either pause a gif or have it automatically stop looping after a few playthroughs. The infinitely looping gif thing isn't just irritating to the average user but poses an accessibility issue. It's also a basic feature in almost every other IM client out there.

    This! It is so incredibly annoying that I can't click on the gif to make it stop looping.
