Qr code scanner

All of a sudden when I go to the QR scanner in the app.... the scanner function no longer works. I have updated DC... and logged out of the app.. but nothing fixes it. When I click on qr code scanner in the app, my screen dims and there is an “x” top left to exit... but I cannot scan as I still see my dc setting screen
