Make the new rebrand optional
Not really sure why everything has been changed; old logo was perfect as is, old color was great on eyes, Wumpus is a national treasure, and all the brightened up colors are painful on the eyes. Not to mention the new logo font is absolutely the worst I have ever seen, not really sure how someone could screw up that bad. Truly an appalling choice of font. If nothing else get changed, at the very least change that font pronto.
But the fix is simple; just make a setting that reverts notifs, logo, colors, everything back to the way it was pre-update, for those who share the common opinion that your redesign is terrible. That way, you can make both sides happy. There is pretty much no reason not to do this. Even if many people end up forgetting about this change in a week, that's not a good excuse to go ahead and ignore negative feedback. The best response would be to consider both sides, and hear our voice. Thank you.

I completely agree with you on that one. I dont like the new look, but everybody can have theire oppinions. Making the change optional is a good Idea in my oppinion, and there is no reason to not add that feature

I think they should just give us the option to change it back like Mojang did it it Minecraft when they updated the textures and gave us the option to use programmer art! Also they maybe could let us keep the old and new design in steps like if you want to have the new logo but the old colour and font cause me for example iÍ like the new logo but I hate the new colour and font of discord and I know people who for example don't like the new logo cause its oversimplyfied but like the font. Btw i dont like the idea of turning the logo into a mascot and give it like different emotions and feeling. IT'S A CONTROLLER AND NOT SOMEKIND OF LIVING THING!

I agree atleast a toggle option would suffice. But from a business branding perspective, a toggle option that literally everyone would use doesn't make sense. As a brand, you want to use colors and UI designs that generally everyone enjoys.1 -
Timed and I think we can all agree that NOT everybody enjoys the rebrand

I think that this would be a good idea too, scince a lot of people want the old Logo and colours back. What I had in mind, would be to just put a time limited setting into Discord, so they will see how many people would acctually go back to the old one.
