The rebrand is awful, and not welcoming

If the goal was to make Discord "more welcoming" by making it bubblier and rounder, it didn't work. Instead, it lacks personality and looks cheap. The redesign reeks of cheap tech startup. Please, for your own good, revert it or hire a new branding designer.

This just makes Discord feel like it belongs with all the ad-infested privacy-nightmare social platforms that already exist.

    I agree. It looks like Discord got hit by the minimalist logo wave, and it sucks. The font looks cartoony, childish, and the new "blurple" just looks blue- and way too bright. It's completely out of place.
    The logo, while it now has some cute expressions, is way too simple. A lack of personality is the perfect way to describe it. His ears got chopped off, and while the symmetry is nice, it was hardly noticable in the first place.
