Please add the option to revert to the older logo etc

I know there are a hundred and one other posts requesting this, and I’m hoping that, by adding my voice to the collective uproar, the powers that be might actually listen. Whilst I’m sure the newer art styles appeal to many, the response here and on Twitter shows that most active users prefer the original.

The old adage “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” springs to mind.

I’m not against progression, but this seems like Discord is simply joining the trend of simplified and symmetrical, an image that the relatively simple original logo managed to avoid. Even if Discord as a company is adamant that it must roll out its new corporate branding, it would be nice for the individual to revert back if desired (the artwork etc has already been made so it shouldn’t be too costly to implement).

Update: I use Discord iOS and it’s just updated, meaning that this is the first time I’ve actually seen the new font in use on Discord. It’s worse than I thought. The previous font was simple but effective, but this new stuff just looks... wrong. Also the new logo sticks out like a sore thumb on my home screen.
