I've been using T2S for a while. It's very versatile. I was mainly using it to communicate while I was sick and couldn't talk. Soon I started using it to read web articles when I was lazy or couldn't commit to reading. You don't even have to open the app to use the text to speech function as long as you can copy it to clipboard which is especially awesome combined with Android 10 that lets you to copy pretty much whatever text you want on the screen from the recents menu.

Voice Dream Reader is a text-to-speech assistive application for both Apple and Android devices that converts PDFs, web pages, Microsoft Word, and other document formats into spoken word, while also offering additional features such as bookmarking, note-taking, and a built-in dictionary.
