Sticker Retention for Previous Purchasers
Recently got the following notification from discord and confirmed it with a request inquiry:

Hey Viv/Yeku, We have some important updates on the future of stickers, and we’re reaching out because you’ve purchased or claimed stickers in the past. First, we want to say thank you for using stickers! We have learned a lot and you’ve helped us get even closer to introducing stickers to Discord worldwide. So, what’s changing? In short? We’re making our stickers a Nitro exclusive, and servers will be able to upload custom stickers with Boosting. It works like this: When a server gets enough Boosts to unlock Level 1, server admins will be able to upload custom stickers. All server members can use custom stickers in the server, and Nitro subscribers will be able to use them anywhere on Discord. As for our most loved Discord sticker packs, they’ll be included in Nitro and you can keep using them as long as you’re subscribed. How this impacts you: As of today, the sticker shop is closing for business, and 15 days from now we will remove any stickers you have claimed or purchased. You will receive a full refund for all sticker purchases within 30 days. If you do not see your refund after 30 days, please contact our support team at https://dis.gd/support. I am extremely disappointed to be losing the stickers I have purchased; and while grateful to have the refund given, I would really like to keep the stickers I bought. My current favorites are the "Lovely Choco" and "Choco Says".
I understand financially it may be more stable for it to be a nitro feature; but can we as participants that supported it, and tested it, not be veteran shifted into a system of some sort? I financially am not able at this time to dedicate money to Nitro where I had permanent access for a very small fee previously to said stickers. I also don't even know if the stickers I bought are being carried over.
Who else is disappointed by this decision and their loss of sticker access? Feedback? Concerns? Complaints?

I am really disappointed even shared my thoughts at support right now.
But they told that this was a decision from our community.
If i had decided something..of course i would prefer to keep the stickers, you know how much is nitro in my country? is almost 70% of the normal salary.
How could someone pay for this, i would love to have nitro, i would love to have my stickers..
Thats really bad.

A decision from the community? I didn't decide this. Never even was asked. Thankfully, its Discords OWN POLICY to not offer refunds on stickers, except where required by law:
"OUR STICKER REFUND POLICY
We are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for sticker purchases except where required by law."
Looks like they'll have to let us keep them, unless a refund is required by law.
