Background art

Alright so in this feature I included problems and solutions, so bear with me, because it’s very long. As a customization feature, I think a sort of art background you can choose could make your server seem more detailed, and I think both sides of the community can appreciate it. My idea is to have the option to upload your own custom art background that would go behind your channel selection, as well as the channel name that appears at the top of the screen and you select a channel. With this, people can either choose a solid color such as red, and like that their channel art would become red, or there can make their own art such as pixel art.There are 3 problems with this I can think of, HOWEVER I do have a solution for all 3. 1) what if I have 100 channels? Will I have to make art that goes down that far? Solution) No, every category will separate the art, there can be an option to upload a different art style there too, however this isn’t that important as the feature itself, if this was added way later after the original feature that would be alright. Anyways, an a span of 15 channels, more or less(could be an option to choose the number) the pattern uploaded will repeat. This will go all the way down the server. Also, if you are uploading an image, in the same way a profile picture selects a certain pixelxpixel size to fit it in, this could do the same. 2) What if the art makes it hard to see the channel names themselves? It will be hard to navigate a server if it’s all one color. Solution) To combat this problem, there can be the option to change the color of the channels, such as the text becoming a dark blue. 3) What if the solid colors aren’t my type, and I can’t make custom art, but I want a theme? Solution) Discord can implement templates and their own art, so you can choose from a library of backgrounds. Sub section: animated(Gif) backgrounds (read below) Now that the solutions are out of the way, we have the profits for this so discord isn’t the big sad if they spend a ton of money making this and don’t make enough to cover their losses. This can be a nitro level 1 type of option, and the templates as discussed before in solution 3 can be a nitro level 2 option, and the Gif backgrounds for high end servers that can actually make those happen can be a nitro level 3 option. I think if users see such a cool way of customizing their servers, they might take the nitro subscription in order to use it, so definitely consider this feature atleast, it will likely make many server creators happy. Discord is welcome to use this idea as a whole, or some sections of it, or just something similar.
