Hello! Adding on to this topic. I’m a bit relieved I’m not the only one having these problems. I have bad eyesight and ADHD which makes it very hard to read sometimes. I also work with lots of bots, which means I look at the color a lot. As of today, the update was added to my mobile device. Not only do I find the color distracting I was only able to be on for a few hours before I started getting big headaches. The highly saturated violet against a dark background irritates my eyes and I can’t really see well. But not only that! It hurts to look at! Please recognize that this is actually hurting people who are visually impaired. At least give people like me the ability to change the color pallet. I hope I can add on to the push to make discord more accessible.

  Oh, I definitely agree! I also have ADHD and sensory issues. I’d suggest a toggleable feature to switch between Discord’s old and new color.

  Agreed as someone with ADHD and dyslexia!! I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form about this kind of issues. I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.

  They claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
