The new rebranding was unecessary and feels like the beginning of a corporate discord. Please revert these changes.
From a long time Discord user, I request that you rethink this rebranding decision. The design changes are uninspired and lack identity that discord used to have. The font choice is hard on the eyes, and seems chaotic and jumbled up with the title casing (the lower case "i" is especially jarring). The colors are much harsher and aggressive than the old style used to be, and the theme overall seems very childish. I really appreciate the work y'all have done with this program and how true you *seemed* to be in the past with your user base, but this has definitely missed the mark.
Outside of just the design portion of things, this rebranding definitely reeks of some corporate IPO getting planned for the future, and not a design based off of user feedback. I understand that as a company you need to make money, but if you plan on selling out and becoming another corporate husk later down in the future, I will definitely be finding alternatives. Please revert this change and think about what made this program the best. I will be cancelling my Nitro until there is at least some acknowledgment of the issues that users have brought up with this design change.
