Did a toddler choose the new logo font?

this is straight-up the ugliest thing I've ever seen. It's like you highlighted "Discord" in Word, closed your eyes, hit down on the font selector and stopped randomly. What? Do you pay people for this? Do you pay people to approve this? You went from a clean, sharp, unique typeface to... warped WordArt?

    Although the content of the post could have been kinder, I am in agreement. The new logo and font tries really hard to be "Friendly for everyone" but feels like "We're only a little more info away from being able to influence elections".
