Autofilling someone's tag as you type any related word with a @

I'm unsure why this is a thing now, as previously you'd have to click on someone's name to make sure you don't ping someone accidentally. If my tag is "@lyrics#xxxx", every time someone types in a group chat "hey check out "@lyricspoem" on twitter, it will automatically tag me - when previously it would not. I'm unsure of the functionality of this change, as it will just ping random people when you are trying to talk about something completely unrelated.

  i believe that this has been like that since ive started using discord around 5 years ago, so it's nothing new

   

   

  or maybe it's just my brain making things up, but i vaguely remember this being like that since like forever

  usualy discord would just place the @ without a ping in this case. but it started doing it as a ping lately. and being a direct ping you cannot block it
