Extending the character limit

I use discord for collaborative writing and roleplay, and I just keep finding myself bouncing against this 2000 character limit that I just really have come to hate the more I use the app.

I understand it's limited to avoid spam in servers, but at least give us the option to change the maximum characters per post in the server settings so we have some more control over how much we want our members to write.

I suggest a limit of 10000 characters, which is already not much if you compare it to other messaging apps, but any increase or level of control over the character limit in a server would be very welcomed.

I second this. While I understand that roleplay is not the main intended use for the platform, the ability to extend the character limit in a server would be very welcome. More options never hurt anyone.

honestly, 10k is a bit big, 5k would probably be enough, i dont find myself posting anything over 5k characters usually, only when i copy and paste copypastas is when i have more than 10k characters (and even then it is kinda rare)
