Constructive criticism about the new UI

Honestly, what was changed isn't that bad, simplifying the lines on the controller looking icon and whatnot is a good idea, but the font really needs some work.

First off, why that specific font? It has some bizarre looking curves in letters like the lowercase D that make it look like it's geared towards children, going against the 13 year age requirement.

Second off, it seems like the font was vertically squashed, making the curves mentioned before look worse, like a classic game meant for 4:3 aspect being stretched to 16:9 widescreen. The lowercase i which actually looks cool is squashed, making the dot an oval, making the text logo look like some kind of bootleg

As a guy who like fonts and typography I agree with your comment. This new font is ugly and seems kinda amateur, I'm not even looking of the childish appearance, I've seem comments that the new font seems from a child channel.

The Clyde and colors are okay, you still have the same blue and this blue fits white and black. My dislike revolves around the new font used in the logo.

I completely agree, this new font is not for everyone, it feels like this platform is made for kids while we know it's not. I wish we could at least change back to the old theme once they add this new one.
