The new update blue is not very autism friendly
Personally don't care about any of the new design changes; the logo, the fonts, you do you, we'll get used to them be they good or not, but the change to the rather aggressive and oversaturated new blue on notifications, buttons and whatnot has turned out to be physically painful for many autistic members (including myself) in several of the servers I'm in, making it hard for us to stay for long. I believe many of us would appreciate it being switched back or, if the change was made to help visually impaired people by adding a higher contrast, to at least have a toggle to change between the original soft shade and what you currently changed it to.

A non-autistic user over here, just gonna also add green, as this new green is hard to see in dark mode.
The old colors were much softer and nicer.

I couldn't have said it better. Gonna be honest, I don't like change in the first place, but I don't think I could get used to this. I liked the soft pastel colors, they were nice to look at. But I'm starting to get a headache from these new colors.

I'm not even autistic (I think) and the blue strains my eyes - it's far too bright, the old blurple was perfect

A lot of visually impaired people have also reported having problems with the new blue and font, as well as other neurodiverse ppl,, personally i have adhd n i also cant deal with the new blue, way too harsh, and the new pings disrupt chatflow and are too distracting
I doubt they accessibility-tested this before rolling it out at all, given how pretty much every neurodiverse or visually impaired ppl I know or seen talk about this struggle with this change immensly. I hope they listen to the flood of ppl criticising this.

The too bright blurple is awful. The rest of it, I could learn to live with, but that colour is migraine inducing and makes my eyeballs yell at me.
