Eye strain caused by the new colour

Does anyone else have eye strain from the new saturated purple colour? I don't know what it is about it but the white on the saturated purple is really over stimulating for me, and hurts my eyes to look at.

  I absolutely have the same issue with it. Im not exactly sure why this color is so hard to look at, but something softer would be appreciated and probably less headache inducing

  I have the same problem.  Doesn't matter what screen I'm looking at it on, the new 'blurple' text is so eyebleedingly painful I can't use the app any more.

  I've already changed the app icon on my phone to something else. It's not too bad at the moment because on my phone app, all the purple is still the old colour, but I'm not looking forward to it changing :(
