Schedule Idea
I was talking with some friends and I thought it would be cool if you could make a schedule channel, sort of like a text channel, but it shows a calendar. If you have the roles to edit said calendar, you could set event dates or anything you wanted to. Let's say you want to have a server-wide movie night. You could announce it, then head over to the calendar tab and input it in there. Through this calendar, you could see all upcoming and past events. Maybe you could also have a personal one to see all the events for all the servers you are in.

I came here to post the exact same thing. A schedule should be built into Discord as a first-class citizen. Each 'event' should have a dedicated chat stream for it (just as Microsoft Teams and Zoom do) and they should be archived to the meeting, yet searchable across the entire server (so long as the person searching has access to the channel for a particular meeting).
Meetings should have Role-Based Security like every other channel, which is mutable before, during, or after the meeting (so you can grant permission for someone else who was initially left out, for example, to join).Meetings should also be *recordable* so that they can be played back.
And there should be a separate channel which is a Transcription of the meeting broken down by timestamp and capturing who was doing the talking at that time.

Can you please persist events.
Do something like threads archived for events. Keep it in the events channel automatically - just have a clickable "Archived" section similar to the Inbox's "Unreads" and "Mentions" links.
I want to see past events and keep the links active, and see the "interested" people too.
Thank you!!0
