New Discord UI feedback

I know a lot of people really don't like the new update and that's completely fair. It was really abrupt! (I mean, don't fix it if it's not broken right?) But a huge point of contention I'm seeing is with the new colors. I think that they are insanely harsh on the eyes, and especially taking Discord's user base into consideration (people who spend a lot of time behind a screen) the harshness of these colors, even with dark mode, aren't doing anyone any favors. I also think it would be a nice compromise to have to option to revert back to the old design if we wanted to. And I'm so sorry to say this but, it's [the new update] just really ugly to look at :/

    The blue is too garish, it hurts to look at when used to a dark screen

    The mentions are horrible too.  I can't imagine this rebrand was ever field-tested or given to a focus-group to tell whether or not this would have been the right decision, because clearly it makes the experience horrible.
