The new colour doesnt look like Discord, it feels foreign.
The new reaction emoji ui also looks worse, that outline is horrible.

  Dear Discord managers,
  
  Please, please, please, drop the marketing "expert" who talked you into this - from what I can tell, it was NOT the users. The trick of asking people without publishing the results is so often used to justify changes a company wishes to make, it sounds fishy even without bad intentions. So, I suggest either you actually listen to the angry voices of your users, or you publish the results and all of your survey - including details like how many people were selected how, asked how etc.
  
  At the moment the impression one gets is that you are digging away lustily, removing the foundations of your success.
