Here's a list of the issues with Discord's new logo design choices
So, first of all, the biggest issue, the new, harsh, saturated color.
While this personally is burning my eyes in a dark room or on a phone screen the most (it still hurts to look at even with the right lighting conditions), I've heard that this physically hurts even more to look at for people with colorblindness, ADHD, Irlen Syndrome and autism or sensory processing disorders and it even causes worse migraines for people with chronic migraines that had no issue with using Discord before, so this new logo isn't really "friendlier" at all.
(I was just typing a comment in the comment section on the support website and the "Submit" button in this new color was burning my eyes more than the white background. The old "ticket form" page still seems to use old-Discord's color choices and it's easier to focus on just typing in this textbox. And now that I'm typing this on the new support posting page, the new "submit" box color is once again burning my eyes.)
There are also really big design flaws like the font looking overall just squished, the smaller case letters being as big as the capitalized letters, the misaligned holes and sizing (e.g. the i is bigger than the D in this new font), and plenty of people have already said this on Twitter.
While people do also have a problem with Discord's icon logo (the controller shape), I do recognize that this new logo would lead to less printing problems on stuff like t-shirts, so I understand at least this.
If you can only fix one thing, then you should revert the new color back to the old color, it hurts to look at and it's even worse for people with disorders that make them react even worse to harsh colors.
Don't know why people need to specifically give feedback on here when social media websites have more people talking about the new logo, but if that's what Discord wants, it's what Discord gets.
