Lack of Divider Lines Makes it Difficult to Read Messages (Myopia/Astigmatism)
I've shown my concern about this over a year ago. After Discord refusing to listen to the overall negative feedback of the UI update last year, I gave up trying to show my feedback.
I thought I would get used to the lack of the divider lines after a while, but I couldn't. The lack of those old divider lines in between messages has made it extremely hard to use Discord. I have really poor vision and those lines really helped when it comes to reading individual messages.
I really want these lines to return as an accessibility option,
along with the ability to disable the highlight mechanic when you hover over a message. It gets even more distracting reading messages when browsing Discord.
I want to also include some issues about the new Rebranding, but I'm going to put that as a separate post.
Please bring back the Divider Lines

I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form about the new update. I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.
Link to their tweet about it: https://twitter.com/discord/status/1392869194413355009
Link to their Google form feedback itself: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdTzNbITTRx4BYWFlC3gi_lEi3D3rsa9VCBK_EphF5myDb7uw/viewformThey claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
