The New UI Makes it Difficult to Use the App
I don't have a specific condition that affects this, besides Myopia/Astigmatism.
-Please give an option to rollback these colors to the old style. The muted OG Blurple and less saturated colors made it much much more easy on the eyes when using the app.
These new Overly-saturated colors cause eyestrain and headaches on both PC and Mobile versions of Discord. I can't go 10 minutes without my eyes starting to hurt. They make my eyes feel like they're being stabbed right in the pupil at times, because of how they contrast with Dark Mode.
-Mentions match normal text too much now. I've already started missing messages because of the White Mentions, they match too much with normal text, even with the highlight behind it.
-The Reaction Number/Outline causes distraction from the main message. My eyes have a habit of paying attention to brighter things in my view, even if they're on the edge of my view. The change in reactions is just enough for my eyes to notice, and gravitate immediately towards them rather than the message.
Please rollback these changes or make a toggle for accessibility-sake.

I'm also struggling with the blinding new blurple. It's painfully saturated.

I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form about this. I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.
Link to their tweet about it: https://twitter.com/discord/status/1392869194413355009
Link to their Google form feedback itself: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdTzNbITTRx4BYWFlC3gi_lEi3D3rsa9VCBK_EphF5myDb7uw/viewformThey claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
