Discord Update problems

As everyone has said multiple times, the update is absolutely horrible. The colors are too saturated, it looks really ugly and unwelcoming. I have had some eye strain problems that give me headaches and nausea with all of the really rich, saturated colors in the update that are all in close proximity to one another. The font too is too close together and unfriendly to dyslexic people and people who have trouble reading on screens in general.

An app that makes an update that is so unfriendly is going to drive off its user base. If this continues my discord servers will have to find somewhere else to chat. With so many of us having visual problems with the saturation, some are colorblind and some are dyslexic and ALL are neurodivergent with some kinds of sensory issues. You WILL lose your user base with this update. Please either revert it back immediately or give us the option to put it back.

I noticed that Discord replied to someone’s concerns about accessibility with a feedback form! I filled it out already, so I hope others in do and share it with friends as well to let them know how inaccessible and garish the new colors, font, etc. are for users.

They claim accessibility is taken very seriously, so let’s be sure to inform them of how difficult these new changes are for people.
