Can't download image/gif

Same as the title says, I'm getting the the download error access denied to storage files. Help pls, can't download anything from it on android phone. After last update, reinstalled app as well

  I assume you have storage permissions granted to app as well?  I have same issue.  I've check multiple times that discord has storage permission but it STILL doesn't have permission to 'access storage to download'.  It's more than just image/gif its any file for me.
