Discord drains my phone (Android) battery after the new update

There might be a memory leak or something on the Android Discord app. Before the update, I could spend up to 5 hours on the app a day without using 15% of my phone battery. Now, 1 hr 31 min uses 11%. As I am a high-ranking moderator of a 1700+ person community and need to access the server on my phone every day to ensure its smooth operation, this is untenable. Please, please search for memory leaks or anything else that can cause a quickly-draining battery. Thank you in advance and know that I appreciate all you do!
