low-vision accessibility - control over fonts and panels

Hello. I have low vision, and there are some features that would make Discord substantially easier for me to use. I am using the following version of Discord

Stable 86128 (62bd307)
Host 0.0.15
Linux 64-Bit (5.4.0-73-Generic)

I would like larger options for the font size, and ideally control over the font itself so that I could choose a thicker, bolder one (there are also other disabilities that have different font requirements). Right now, I can compensate somewhat using a high zoom level, but a higher zoom level expands the side panels and shrinks the main panel so that it becomes unusable at a certain point. It would help if I could adjust the dimensions of the side panels or at least hide them.
