Can't download anything on Android

Ever since that small tweak on the 18th, I've seemingly been unable to download ANYTHING, and Discord doesn't even try. Picture? Video? Text document? It all seems to just immediately say "Download failed" with no actually attempt to even start a download.

  Hello There! I've had the same problem after updating discord recently. One solution I've found is to uninstall the play store version and download an older version of discord via Google or any browser. For example, my version was v74, the one where I couldn't download anything. I deleted it and downloaded the previous version of discord, and now it's working fine!

  Same issue here on Android 9. Rebooting and clearing Discords cache has no effect...
  
  However, I can work around the issue by clicking the icon to open the image or video in a web browser, and then download it from there instead of the app.

  So like, isn't there supposed to be software testing and quality control or something?
