Design options - Compromise with Better

First - Groups
Grouping your roles with a banner over them so we can separate roles. 

Second - Force Wrap Chips Option
create a container outside of the chip (on display roles) which has width 100%, forcing it to flex-wrap on it's own inner object. Create no gutters for the object, so the CSS doesn't change when wrapping. (This is fairly simply to achieve, and in my opinion, looks better).

I'm sure the first one has been mentioned a billion times, but with the new update, you kind of took away any measure to use groups. We use to use invisible dividers, but we can't do that anymore, because you use contrasting colors.
