Disappearing @here notifications and "Unreads" is a mess - bug or feature?
Had this issue going on for a while on desktop where I'll hear a Discord notification sound, and the Discord icon will get highlighted on my Task Bar, but when I go check the Inbox for "Mentions" the message will sometimes appear at the top for a brief second and then quickly disappear.
Did a bit of googling to see if anyone else was reporting the issue, and found this 8-month-old Reddit post describing exactly the same behavior. I hadn't previously realized it was only happening with @here mentions, but after seeing that post was able to confirm that was the case.
Did a bit more googling and found this old FAQ article describing the new Inbox and the difference between "Mentions" and "Unreads." According to this, @here mentions should now be showing up in Unreads instead of Mentions?
Got a couple of issues with this. First of all, it's pretty weird that the notifications show up in "Mentions" briefly and then disappear. Secondly, "Unreads" is a huge mess. It's showing me every bit of new conversation in every channel of every server I'm a part of. Apparently I can mute the channels or servers, but I do still want to get mention notifications from those channels so muting doesn't really work for me. I've set the notification settings of all my servers to "Only @mentions" and have the "Suppress @everyone and @here" toggle off to make sure I see those.
Most of the servers I'm on use @here and @everyone interchangeably, since before this update (a year ago?) there was very little distinguishing them; and typically the channel admins seem to prefer @here over @everyone for getting everyone's attention. But now I can't actually find those mentions. Even though Discord keeps beeping notifications at me when they're made.
I can't be the only one having this issue, can I? Am I misunderstanding this feature or experiencing a bug? Or both?

Looks like it's a bug that it shortly pops up. That's not supposed to happen. But it not being in mentions doesn't look like a bug. The purpose of @here is to bring attention to a channel without sending a notification to people. So ig discord thought it'd be better to not put it in mentions. As an admin, I instruct people to use @everyone if the issue is urgent, and @here if it's ok to wait until they come online on their own. But yeah, even I would like it if @here is also listed in the mentions section
