Yes, Discord, your new design is still inaccessible!
The new default purple color, in addition the high color contrast, gave me a migraine the first day it was implemented. It took me over a day and a half to get rid of it! Now, I can only use the browser site version, since my browser lets me change the display colors of any website.
Discord has not so much as acknowledged the plethora of disabled users (as well as any other person who knows a thing about good graphic design) who have been telling them again and again that this change is terrible. Unfortunately, it's a symptom of the common attitude that "disabled people aren't important in MY space, they go somewhere else!", but it's especially awful here given the claim that this update was supposed to be "more inclusive." Honestly, it feels like a cruel prank.
Because apparently the developers of this app need to be reminded, disabled people exist. Disabled people use the internet. We have friends who we want to communicate with. And a lot of us still find your update inaccessible. (And we will continue to well after I post this.) That doesn't mean we're whining and complaining and trying to make you look bad. It means, in my case at least, that I can't open my eyes after looking at your ugly purple because they feel like they've been fried.

Honestly, any proper devs would change back if they found out a new update was giving people headaches, seizure auras, migraines, and general eyestrain and overstimulation.
Discord staff have proven themselves to not care about their userbase any more and it seems like this is the beginning of the end for them.

They have a chance, right here now, to turn things around. But if they don’t, it’s only a matter of time. And considering how angry people have been over everything in the last year? Having their major communications Avenue suddenly turn hostile to them is going to definitely lose them users very fast.

They are not going to change anything back, but instead released another disgusting update to the appearance of the profile, now it looks as contrast print and loaded as the new logo.
I genuinely hate these people-designers, artists, or whatever it is that's doing this new look of discord. I do not know what more I hate the new update or those who make it.
But I want to say that we must fight, even if it is pointless. And remember... Inaction - is the recognition that we allow ourselves to be deprived of the right to choose...
