Muting someone in the direct message does not surpress notification from text quote.

I muted someone in DM to avoid a red dot notification from appearing. It worked for most of the time, however, if she started to reply to my message (using the reply to message function), the notification did not get blocked. 

Is it possible to change this behavior?

  mentions in group chats, or maybe in general DMS bypass the mute.
