When you or someone change your account's email/ password/ phone number, to get an email that you can undo those changes in 24/48h. (I've seen this on Mojang/ Microsoft - minecraft account), or at least, to deactivate the account permanently.
That could save a lot of emails to support.
- A little story about my experience with Discord support for getting my account hacked with token.
On 10 apr. 2021, 00:11, i've got 2 emails from discord.
1: Imgur: The magic of the Internet ; 2: Imgur: The magic of the Internet .
I didn't see them until someone that logged to my account, added some people in to the group i was talking to in those moments. After I realised that I added them, i checked the email and seen those 2 emails. Alright.
Since 11 apr. 2021, i've been waiting for emails from them. I gave them every info to check the account (User ID, Old email address, Transaction ID & Invoice ID (I bought nitro), phone nr (used to verify the account), my ip, and one of my bot's token)
I gave them every single thing that could make them to recover my account... but nothing. I sent them replies every single week, without response, until 26 mai 2021, 14:50. Almost 2 months since first email, and got the following message: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
Basically... they can't do nothing because of "strict security and privacy reasons"? I gave them every proof to verify what happend.
What about my nitro? I Paid for basically nothing, because i haven't use it for more than 1 week.
And yes, I had 2FA enabled... I can't believe how easy it is to steal someone's account.. without having an email either a password... I didn't really give a damn, but I had some private infos shared with my little brother (accounts)..
I Don't say isn't my fault for getting Token Hacked, but as I remember, I haven't downloaded anything shady. Could be a Brute-Force attack? Who knows.
Going back to my suggestion/ idea, I think would be more than useful to be added... Let me know what you think.
