"About Me" BETA TEST

Hello, I would like to be part of the "About Me" Beta Test, but it appears that the people who have the Beta are randomly selected. We would like to apply for the new Beta option. It's very cool.

    The new profile customization features are currently in an early Beta stage, if you want to test it, your best bet, to my knowledge, is the get Discord PTB/Canary and hope they release it there soon.

    I randomly got chosen I guess for it cause a few days ago I say on discord I had it and non of my friends did so im guessing you get randomly chosen for it

    I had it but did not have nitro so I couldn't change my background. I set my bio to a bunch of AMOGUS then got classic nitro so I could have a background. Then I had the beta access removed after I got nitro. Besides being a scam I'm stuck with amogus. Its been days.

    Hi Alex, what I have enabled maybe you should try also is go to settings click advanced and enable developer mode maybe that helps getting chosen for beta tests cus i have it enabled and im 1 of the chosen ones

    everyone in my servers keep asking me how to get an “about me” bio and i keep telling them i forgot because i did. now i see that i was randomly selected. i can’t find the option anymore in my thing anymore and i want to change what i put there because it’s hella embarrassing jesus chroist anyways yeah.

    Yeah, honestly like how i replied on another thread, discord carried out this beta test pretty badly, at least in my own personal opinion. By giving out these updates randomly, they could give updates to people who don't use discord as often, those people who hate their platform, those people who use beta features but don't give actual feedback, those people who don't really want the beta features. While not all the people who got it would be like that, theres no doubt theres a large group of people who fit in one of those categories. You'll have these people using the update just to have something special for themselves and misuse it but those people who actually support discord (IRL events, discord nitro, etc.) and tries to give their best feedback with the best for discord always on mind- wont get these updates. Giving out updates like rare limited candy is honestly a bad move on discord's part, and isn't how beta/testing features are supposed to be for- not a lottery ticket draw, but something where they can get actual feedback from people who know what they are doing (like for instance, new accounts have gotten it but those old accounts from 5 or more years ago and still are actively on discord to this day dont have it). So I really hope that aspect of this beta testing will be fixed in the future.

    Would be nice if the beta was given to everyone, honestly. Everyone deserves this new feature, and not just random users.
