A few suggestions regarding the bulk deletion of messages.

  1. Add the ability to delete all your messages from a group chat once you have been removed.
  2. Add the ability to enable "rolling-deletion" for all text channels, including DMs. This feature would automatically delete messages after a set period of time (i.e. 15 seconds) like some SMS providers allow for already.
  3. (optional) Add the ability to delete all your messages from a server once you have been banned. (I imagine that this could create problems related to illegal servers, hence, optional).

This, type of stuff really needs to be added, and I think this bears repeating. Many other texting services already have such features, yet Discord does not, why?

    I love this idea, I mean I love ALL the ideas you gave. I also wrote something similar to this in more detail, feel free to check it out! Ever since I’ve been using Discord I’ve been WAITING ages for a feature like these to come out.
