Epic games nitro promotion

Hi, I was wondering if I claim the nitro promotion and I am not really interested in keeping my nitro after a while can I cancel the subscription? And if I did will it complete the whole 3 month nitro period or will it terminate immediately. And if I cancel it in this 3 month period will I be charged further?
