Reply Pings...Let the receiver choose
Someone replied to something I said. I didn't see this until hours later because the person had turned off "Ping on Reply". This baffled me. Shouldn't it be my choice whether I get pinged or not?
In all other things regarding Pings on Discord, the choice is given to the receiver. You can turn off pings, or mute pings from a channel or server, etc. But weirdly for replies, the choice is given to the sender instead. This makes no sense. What if I want to get pinged whenever somebody replies to me? I'm the one being directly spoken to

came to this page just to write this
why the hell is reply pinging ON by default? i instead just choose to block the users who do it constantly because discord provides no other option

emaqed That's not what this is about at all. This is about the fact that I WANT to be pinged when replied to, yet the sender can choose to turn it off which makes no sense.
