Is Discord harmful for SSD?

I have Discord on my SSD but I read yesterday that having it on the SSD could cause the total host writes to increase and reduce its lifespan, and then it's more stressing if youve maxed out on the servers you joined. So.. does it kill the hard drive or is this just scaremongering?

    I don't think Discord would do too much to your SSD, unless you have a very very old one, even then I think it would be fine.

    I've only noticed Discord using lots of memory sometimes but that's normal.
