Onboarding Requirements

I would like to implement an onboarding system in my community server. Upon joining, members will initially have access to only one channel. After verification, they will gain access to other channels. However, I want to avoid cluttering up my small community server with unused channels. Unfortunately, it seems difficult to maintain a simple and clean server without compromising the benefits of the onboarding system.

  Yeah I agree! I have it in my server to where there is a lobby category and a bot gives them a role on a timer. This method allows onboarding, and it allows users to interact with other new people in the server before they get verified. The other major benefit of this is that a person can't immediatly spam or raid your discord channels, since they are temporarily limited to a lobby.

  You are right. I also think the requirements should be much lower!

  It's been literal months since Onboarding was released and there are still inane channel requirements. REMOVE THEM.
