New bug with recent updates regarding app and game called "Everything"

There is a bug with a new update, Discord is detecting the app called Everything from Voidtools as the game called Everything instead. So everytime you open the Everything app to search for something it will show it as a status on Discord as like you are playing it and will even show the icon of the game instead. Disabling it from Registered games tab on Discord won't help, and it will keep reenabling it as a status every time you open it, but not when it runs in background tho.

    I was able to fix this by renaming Everything.exe to Everything1.exe.

    Actually it does happen when the program is in the background but when you exit another application like a game, then it shows as status "Playing Everything" again.

    Same. Can't alter the detection settings because Everything (game) is verified.

    did they fix it? Because I don't get this bug anymore, and I changed back the name from Everything1.exe to Everything.exe because it was giving problems with the program especially after an update. Not sure if it's fixed for everyone tho. Maybe it was the everything devs who fixed it idk.

    Thanks for sharing your experience! I've encountered the same issue on my Commercial Cleaning Melbourne CBD site. and it's definitely a bit annoying. Hopefully, the developers will release a fix for this soon. In the meantime, I've found that running the Everything app in the background helps avoid it showing up as a status on Discord.
